How much is shipping, and when is it free?
Standard shipping to the United States is $4.95 and free on orders over $60. Shipping to Canada is $9.95. Your exact rate is always shown at checkout. See our Shipping & Returns page for delivery estimates.
How long will my order take?
Pieces are made or finished by hand and usually dispatch within 1–3 business days (up to 5 for made-to-order items). After dispatch, tracked delivery is around 7–14 business days to the US and 10–20 to Canada. You’ll receive a tracking link by email when it ships.
Where do you ship from, and where do you ship to?
Every piece is handmade in our small studio and shop in Shanghai, China, and shipped from there. We currently deliver to the United States and Canada; other destinations are coming soon — email us if you’d like to ask.
What are your beads made of?
Our beads are primarily hand-finished glass — including frosted sea-glass style and striped art glass — paired with warm gold-tone and silver-tone metal findings. Because each bead is hand-finished, they vary a little in shade and shape, which makes every piece one of a kind. Our metal components are gold-tone or silver-tone finishes, not solid gold or silver.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo?
Almost — but because beads are natural or handmade and each piece is strung by hand, expect small, lovely differences in colour and texture from the photos. Those differences are what make yours entirely yours.
What size are the bracelets and necklaces?
Most beaded bracelets are strung on strong elastic to comfortably fit wrists around 6–7.5 inches. Necklace lengths are noted on each product page. Need a different wrist size? Just leave your measurement at checkout and we’ll string it to fit — at no extra cost.
Can I return earrings?
For hygiene reasons, earrings are final sale unless they arrive faulty or damaged. Other unworn pieces in their original packaging can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery — full details are on the Shipping & Returns page.
Does my order come gift wrapped?
Yes. Every piece arrives in a simple kraft pouch, ready to gift or to keep, at no extra charge.
How should I care for my jewelry?
Keep your pieces away from water, perfume, lotion and heavy sweat, take them off before bathing or sleeping, and store them separately to avoid tangling and scratches. Wipe gently with a soft cloth to keep the beads and metal warm.
Will I be charged customs duties or tax?
Orders outside China may incur destination-country import duties or taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient and are not charged at checkout by us.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible at [email protected]. If your order has not yet been made or dispatched, we’ll happily change or cancel it; once it has shipped, the normal returns process applies.
Do you take custom orders?
Yes — wrist sizing is our most common request. Just leave your wrist measurement at checkout and we’ll string your bracelet to fit, at no extra cost. For other custom requests, such as a particular colourway or design, email us and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal and major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout. Payment is processed by trusted providers and we never see your full card number.
